Strive (Case Study In Progress)
HELPING NEW PATIENTS ACCESS MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT AT LOW COST AND COMMITMENT
This case study is still in progress!
Strive is a project created under the Bridge for Design Program. I was one of the 6 designers in the Toronto community to be part of the beta cohort. The Bridge program helps experienced designers level up. In the program, students refine existing skills and learn new techniques to add onto their toolkit.
The course had a project component in which we had to design a product starting from research and strategy and finishing off with a prototype to pitch within the 7 week program. The beta cohort focused on the topic of access to mental health treatment and services.
The instructors acted as stakeholders from the Stowe Institute to emulate client-work environment. The students and stakeholders worked together to define project goals and user needs. Afterwards, the students worked on a solution based on their selected problem space. I focused on creating a solution to help new patients seek accessible treatment.
